Hillside Shopping Center

You don’t have to hike for miles to enjoy the best of Sedona. Some of our favorite experiences here are slower-paced: scenic drives, local shopping, great food, art galleries, and iconic red rock views with easy access.

At Solhaus Stays, we love helping guests experience Sedona beyond the trails. Here are a few of our favorite non-hiking spots to visit during your stay.

Chapel of the Holy Cross

One of Sedona’s most iconic landmarks, this stunning chapel is built directly into the red rocks and offers incredible panoramic views with minimal walking required. It’s especially beautiful in the morning or around sunset.

Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village

Tlaquepaque is one of our favorite places to spend a relaxed afternoon. With art galleries, boutiques, wine tasting, restaurants, and beautiful courtyard spaces, it’s easy to wander for hours here.

Uptown Sedona

For shops, restaurants, coffee, and classic Sedona energy, Uptown is worth exploring at least once during your trip. Go earlier in the day or during happy hour for a more relaxed experience.

More Great Shopping Areas Around Sedona

Beyond Uptown and Tlaquepaque, Sedona has several smaller shopping centers worth exploring. Hillside Sedona offers boutique shopping, galleries, restaurants, and some of the best patio views in town. We also recommend browsing the local shops scattered throughout West Sedona for coffee spots, wellness boutiques, home décor, crystals, gifts, and locally made art.

Sedona Heritage Museum

If you enjoy local history, this hidden gem offers a look into Sedona’s pioneer roots, ranching history, and early Hollywood connections.

Take a Scenic Drive

One of the best parts of Sedona is simply driving through the red rocks. Oak Creek Canyon, Red Rock Scenic Byway, and the roads around West Sedona all offer incredible views without needing to hit the trails.

Slow Down and Enjoy Sedona

Some of the best Sedona moments are the simplest—coffee with a view, strolling through galleries, watching sunset over the red rocks, or relaxing under the stars after a day exploring.

At Solhaus Stays, we believe Sedona is best experienced at a slower pace, with a mix of adventure, relaxation, and beautiful surroundings.
